Eleanor Lee Cleek, age 79, of Shirley, passed away Friday morning, June 15, 2012 at St. John’s Hospital in Anderson.

She was born February 13, 1933 in Shirley IN. the daughter of the late Oral and Helen (McMullen) Kiser.

Eleanor worked at Kiser’s Grocery in Shirley for over 40 years and Star Financial Bank for 8 years. She loved the community and faithfully served with dedication to the Shirley Christian Church, Shirley Historical Society and as Queen Mother of the Red Hat Club of Shirley.

She is survived by her elementary school sweetheart and loving husband of 61 years, Frankie Cleek, daughter; Tina (David) Madden of Bellbrook, OH., three grandchildren; Kevin, Kristin, Elizabeth Madden., two nieces; Cyndi (Steve) Snider of Shirley and Gina Bruner; nephews; Mark (Julie) Bruner, Mick Kiser and Gary Kiser, sister in law; Arleene (Robert) Bruner of Palmetto, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents; son; Eric Cleek, brother; Bruce Kiser.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson, IN. with Gary Sickle officiating. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 4-8 P.M.
