Mary E. Florea, 78 of Shirley, IN. passed away Monday morning, July 2, 2012 at her residence.
She was born June 16, 1934 in Henry Co., the daughter of the late Alonzo and Matilda (Carver) Gorman.
Mary owned the Red Apron Restaurant in Shirley for 10 years, sold World Book Encyclopedias, and enjoy cooking all of her life. She was a member and treasurer of the Shirley Friends Church.
Survivors include her husband; Bob Florea of Shirley, son; Jeffrey Perry of Carthage, daughter; Brenda Bishop of Hartselle, AL, stepson; Rob Florea Jr., Wilkinson, stepdaughter; Edie Jo Florea, Markleville, six grandchildren, brother; Roland Gorman, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers; Lawrence, Gerald, Lowell, Kenny, Jimmy Gorman.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson, with Pastor Jim Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday, July 6, 2012 from 4-8 P.M.
